Christmas and New Year opening times and additional GP appointments available in Barnes in Dec/Jan

Please note that the surgery will be closed on:

Wednesday 25th December 2024, Thursday 26th December and Wednesday 1st January 2025.

We will be open as usual on other weekdays during the festive period. If you need repeat prescriptions during this period, please order them a few days early as they may take up to 3 working days to process.

If you need urgent medical advice while we are closed please phone 111. In case of an emergency call 999.

This additional capacity is for ‘on the day’ GP appointments for patients with acute symptoms and is at:

Essex House Surgery, Station Rd, Barnes SW13 0LW.

Please note that KC Pharmacy (23 Broad Street, Teddington) is the nominated pharmacy locally to be open on the bank holidays. Their opening hours on these days will be:

Boxing Day 2pm to 6pm
