Demand for appointments

We are experiencing very high levels of demand for appointments at the moment and we apologise that you may be finding it difficult to book appointments on occasion. We appreciate that the past 18 months have been challenging for everyone and we are continuing to work hard to try to ensure that you get the best care possible, with the most appropriate service in a safe environment. We continue to offer face to face and telephone appointments. Where appropriate, we may book you in with a physiotherapist or at the hub surgery or suggest that you speak to a pharmacist for advice first. We understand that it can be frustrating and upsetting if you are not able to book an appointment and our receptionists are working very hard to assist you as far as possible. We ask you to be respectful and considerate to all of our reception staff who are doing their best to help during this challenging time . At the moment we have a vacancy for a GP which we are trying hard to fill but there is a national shortage of GPs and this is placing added strain on our services.
